Since When Did Rich College Dropout Computer Nerds Dictate Healthcare?

The Covid pandemic should be the “Superbowl” for physicians to explore ideas and develop therapies to treat Covid and help to make national policy for how to use the best ideas and science to address the crisis.  However, this appears to not be the case.  Physicians that question existing treatments or try to advertise new treatments are censured by medical organizations, are banned from social media and other online platforms, and have their professional reputations trashed by algorithms that direct queries to negative stories about the physicians in question.

Below are some of the key individuals who program the algorithms that are censoring physicians and the real “science” that needs to be discussed.  None are medically trained, many are college dropouts, and they act through algorithms and rules created by non-medical computer experts.

Mark Zuckerberg – 37 years old, net worth $140 Billion, dropped out of Harvard sophomore year.  Facebook censors physicians and covid treatments under the guise of “misinformation” under their vaccine policy that also extends to Instagram (which Facebook owns).

Bill Gates – 65 years old, net worth $131 Billion, dropped out of Harvard sophomore year.  In October 2019, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation organized Event 201, a simulation with drug companies and various organizations of a worldwide coronavirus pandemic and developed strategies to mitigate it. One recommendation was that “governments and the private sector should assign a greater priority to developing methods to combat mis- and disinformation prior to the next pandemic response.”  (centerforhealthsecurity.org)  Recall that in 2010 Gates supported internet censorship by the Chinese government to crush dissent.  Microsoft also controls 18% of the global web hosting space.

Jack Dorsey – 44 years old, net worth $14 Billion, dropped out of New York University senior year.  Twitter has an official “Covid-19 misleading information policy” which blocks sharing unapproved content about “the nature of the Covid-19 virus; the efficacy and/or safety of preventative measures, treatments, or other precautions to mitigate or treat the disease; official regulations, restrictions, or exemptions pertaining to health advisories; or the prevalence of the virus or risk of infection or death associated with COVID-19.”

Jeff Bezos, age 57, net worth $198 Billion, degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton (at least he has a 4 year degree).  Amazon’s AWS controls 33% of the world’s global web hosting space and exercised this immense power in 2021 when it removed Parlor’s website.  In September 2021, the New York Times Reported that Senator Elizabeth Warren (no medical background, net worth $12 million) directed Amazon to ‘stop peddling misinformation about Covid vaccines and treatments.’

Interestingly, the American Medical Association, with over 250,000 physician members, has not voiced concerns for non-medical personnel controlling the dialogue of medical professionals in public during the Covid pandemic.  Even more interesting, The American College of Emergency Physicians (representing 40,000 ER physicians) in its September 2021 newsletter stated “Patients and physicians should be the ones making medical decisions about what’s best for them, not politicians or lawyers.  We must not allow personal politics to threaten the sacred trust between physicians and patients.”

At the same time ACEP has not spoken out against the credentialing body for Emergency Physicians (ABEM) for its August 2021 warning to ER physicians to not question political policy on official CDC covid policy and approved treatments or risk losing board certification due to “professionalism.”
