FBI Searches Biden’s Rehoboth Beach House in Classified Documents Investigation

Search comes after Biden spends the weekend at the beach front home

FBI Searches Biden’s Rehoboth Beach House in Classified Documents Investigation

The FBI is searching President Joe Biden’s beach house in Rehoboth in connection with the probe into Biden’s handling of classified documents.

The FBI is searching President Joe Biden’s beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware, in connection with the Justice Department’s (DOJ) probe into Biden’s handling of classified documents, Biden’s personal attorney confirmed Wednesday.

The search is the third to take place since November 2, when Biden’s attorneys say they first discovered documents marked classified from Biden’s time as vice president.

The search was conducted without the use of a warrant and in coordination with Biden’s attorneys, CBS first reported Wednesday morning.

Shortly after the outlet broke the news on the FBI activity, Biden’s attorney Bob Bauer confirmed the news in a statement, noting it was planned and that DOJ’s “standard procedures” included conducting the search without notifying the public in advance.

News of the search comes after the FBI conducted a search in mid-November at the Penn Biden Center, a think tank in D.C. where documents with classified markings were first discovered. CBS first reported on that search on Tuesday after neither the White House nor Bauer nor DOJ made it known to the public.

A second search was conducted January 20 at Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware. Bauer announced news of that search the day after it occurred and revealed at the time that several more documents with classified markings had been uncovered during it.

FBI finds NO documents in Biden’s $2.7 million Rehoboth vacation home after three-and-a-half hour search with White House under fire for lack of transparency

The president’s lawyers said no classified docs at Rehoboth residence

FBI search Biden’s beach home in Rehoboth for classified documents

Federal agents seized handwritten notes from Joe Biden’s beach home in Rehoboth but found no documents marked classified, the president’s attorney said.

Federal agents found no classified documents in Joe Biden’s beach home in Rehoboth when they searched it on Wednesday, the president’s attorney said, as the crisis takes yet another troubling turn for the administration.

The Justice Department did take some materials and handwritten notes for further review.

Biden cooperated with the three-and-half hour search of his $2.7 million, six-bedroom, 4,800 square foot home in the Delaware beach town, his attorney Bob Bauer said.

‘The DOJ’s planned search of the President’s Rehoboth residences, conducted in coordination and cooperation with the President’s attorneys, has concluded. The search was conducted from 8:30 AM to noon. No documents with classified markings were found,’ Bauer said.

‘Consistent with the process in Wilmington, the DOJ took for further review some materials and handwritten notes that appear to relate to his time as Vice President,’ Bauer said.

Biden’s personal attorney acknowledged the search after various news outlets reported it was taking place, marking yet another occasion the administration made an announcement after journalists uncovered information. It comes as the White House deals with questions about how transparent it has been on the crisis, which keeps growing.

Biden’s attorneys have said there are no classified documents at his beach home, having searched it themselves.

But FBI agents searched Biden’s main residence in Wilmington, Delaware in late January and found more classified documents there after the president’s attorneys had conducted their own search.

And the White House had fielded questions last week about whether a search of his Rehoboth home might happen this past weekend, when Biden was at Camp David and at his Wilmington residence.

But administration officials have declined to answer questions about specifics, citing the ongoing Justice Department investigation.

It is unclear who stopped the information from being released.

Biden’s attorneys discovered the documents on Nov. 2, 2022, as they closed down his D.C. think tank. It did not disclose their findings until January, after CBS News reported their existence.

And earlier this week, it was revealed that FBI agents searched Biden’s DC think tank office days after the president’s lawyer identified classified material there.

The White House and the Justice Department did not disclose the search, which was reported by CBS News.

It was not immediately known if any additional documents marked classified were uncovered during the search, which took place in mid-November.

In total, there have been five discoveries of classified materials in Biden’s possession: at the Penn-Biden Center, a think tank in Washington, D.C.; in Biden’s garage at his Wilmington, Del., home; one document discovered in his ‘personal library’ in the same home; four more documents found in his home; and then another six found when the Justice Department did another search of his Wilmington residence.

All date back to Biden’s time as vice president under Barack Obama but the White House won’t answer as to what topics the materials cover.

Biden, himself, has taken a personal hit, with his refusal to disclose the initial discovery immediately to the public – especially when it was revealed the documents were found in his think tank six days before the 2022 midterm election.

According to USASpending.gov, a database of spending by the US federal government, the Department of Defense (DoD) awarded tens of millions of dollars in contracts to Hunter Biden’s Metabiota labs.

Metabiota is a San Francisco-based health startup known for tracking epidemics. The company is mentioned on the Hunter Biden laptop.

Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca, invested $500,000 in Metabiota, and the company went on to raise several million more from investment giants like Goldman Sachs.

The firm has biolabs in several countries, including Ukraine, where Hunter played an important role in the company’s activities.

In their pitches to potential backers, Hunter bragged that they had done more than just get financing for the company; they had also helped it “get new customers,” including “government agencies” in the case of Metabiota, according to Daily Mail.

Government data shows Hunter Biden secured millions in government funding and grants for Metabiota after he became part owner of the firm.

Metabiota was one of the 46 Ukrainian Bioweapon labs that the US government partnered with, per DC Draino.

Hunter Biden’s laptop contains several documents regarding his team’s 50/50 ownership of Metabiota. The Gateway Pundit posted two of those documents from the laptop discussing Metabiota on Tuesday.
