‘There is such a thing as a woman.’ Tulsi Gabbard SLAMS Biden’s pro-trans policy for ‘erasing our existence’ and harming confused kids

Gabbard says radicals forced her out of the Democratic Party

Gabbard criticized the appearance of trans Argentinian woman Alba Rueda at the White House earlier this month to receive an award on International Women’s Day.

  • ‘You ask them: ‘What is a woman?’ and they can’t answer the question,’ she said

Renegade Democrat Tulsi Gabbard has slammed the Biden administration’s pro-transgender policies, saying she left the party due to wrongheaded thinking that fails to distinguish between men and women.

Addressing a conservative gathering in South Carolina, Gabbard, a former Democratic presidential candidate, accused her one-time party of ‘hatred and hostility towards women’.

She highlighted the appearance of a trans Argentinian woman at the White House on International Women’s Day on March 9 — when First Lady Jill Biden presented Alba Rueda with a ‘Women of Courage’ award.

‘One of the people they chose to honor in the White House on International Women’s Day was not a woman at all, it’s a biological male,’ Gabbard told the Vision 2024 National Conservative Forum.

‘There is no greater expression of hatred and hostility towards women than to try to erase our existence as a category of people and to minimize us to being a construct of anyone’s imagination.’

Gabbard, a former Army Reserve officer and Democratic representative from Hawaii, sought the party’s presidential nomination in 2020 but dropped out and backed the eventual winner Joe Biden.

Increasingly at odds with her colleagues, she called them an ‘elitist cabal of warmongers’ as she left the party last October, and is set to publish a tell-all of the ‘electrifying break’ in a memoir this coming October.

At the conservative gathering on Monday, she blasted the party’s embrace of radical transgender ideology, which has become a frontline in the culture wars with conservatives, who often say sex is assigned at birth and is immutable.

‘By rejecting the objective truth that there is such a thing as a woman, they are rejecting the existence of objective truth as a whole,’ Gabbard told the crowd in Charleston.

‘We end up in a position … where what is declared as true is based on whatever those in power say that it is.’

She added: ‘We know the hypocrisy there. You ask them: ‘What is a woman?’ and they can’t answer the question.’

Trans people say society should affirm them in their lived gender, saying they have a right to a normal life on their own terms. Democrats are by and large more willing to accept this than are Republicans.

Hardcore feminists are among the most vocal critics of liberal policies that seek to normalize radical transgender ideas, including the notion that biological males who transition should be treated as women.

The Women’s Liberation Front, for example, says letting biological males compete in women’s sports and use women’s bathrooms is unfair and even dangerous. The same goes for trans women convicts who want to spend their sentences in women’s lockups.

They also warn against giving puberty blockers and other trans healthcare to children, pointing to the rising number of girls who seek to transition to male, without fully understanding the mental health challenges they face.

At the event, Gabbard panned the ‘mutilation of children in the name of so-called gender-affirming care’ and how parents can lose access to their children because they do not affirm their decisions to transition.

The Biden administration’s bid to normalize puberty blockers and other medical treatments for trans children increasingly puts the White House at odds with public opinion, Republican lawmakers, and feminist groups.

The Biden administration recently gave a full-throated endorsement of so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ for children, with Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine saying trans people had ‘support at the highest levels of the federal government.’

At a public appearance last month, Levine, a trans woman, argued that puberty blockers and other drugs and surgeries that help minors change their gender cut the risks of suicide, saved lives, and were backed by major US medical bodies.

The pediatrician also acknowledged that such care has become hugely controversial, putting the administration at odds with voters, Republicans, and recent studies that trans drugs and procedures do kids more harm than good.

Levine’s vocal support for gender-affirming care has since been slammed by Republican politicians and medical groups. This echoes the fallout from Biden’s controversial decision last year to host at the White House Dylan Mulvaney, an adult trans TikToker who records her transition into ‘girlhood.’

Kamala Harris to Trans Star: You ‘Break Barriers,’ ‘Inspire Young People’

Vice President Kamala Harris wrote a glowing letter to transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney, according to an Instagram post by Mulvaney over the weekend.

Vice President Kamala Harris wrote a glowing letter to transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney, according to an Instagram post by Mulvaney over the weekend.

Mulvaney shared the letter, dated March 13, 2023, in which Harris personally thanked him for his advocacy.

In the letter addressed to “Ms. Mulvaney,” Harris gushed:

Thank you for courageously sharing your story and your journey. I appreciate your continued advocacy for transgender equality, including during your visit to the White House last year.

Through your work as an activist and advocate for the LGBTQI+ community, you continue to break barriers and inspire young people across our Nation and around the world.

While we have made incredible progress from advancing marriage equality to enacting historic protections for transgender people the fight is far from over. Our Administration stands with the LGBTOI+ community in the ongoing struggle for true equity and equality and against hate and discrimination in all forms.

I am grateful for your dedication and courage, and I hope you continue to use your platform to spread positivity and create change. I look forward to seeing all that you will accomplish in the future.

The letter was apparently to congratulate Mulvaney, 26, on the one-year anniversary of his “Days of Girlhood” series, where he posts on TikTok about his transition to living as a woman. He recently underwent facial feminization surgery, according to reports.

Mulvaney, who previously identified as gay, has been lionized by Hollywood celebrities and the left.

Mulvaney interviewed President Joe Biden on day 221 of his “transition.” Biden told Mulvaney that restrictions on “gender-affirming health care” for children were “wrong.”

The president also told Mulvaney, according to British outlet The Times, “I don’t think any state or anybody should have the right to do that. As a moral question or as a legal question, I just think it’s wrong.”

“People fear what they don’t know,” he told the TikTok star.
