“America looks at her and says she is utterly ridiculous”
Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds called “The View” co-host Joy Behar a “buffoon” on Wednesday after she suggested that Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and Justice Clarence Thomas don’t “understand” racism.
During Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” Behar criticized Scott’s presidential announcement, highlighting a recent ad from Scott where he spoke optimistically about the nation and his campaign. Behar said “he’s one of these guys, who you know, he’s like Clarence Thomas, a black Republican, who believes in ‘pulling yourself up by the bootstraps,’ rather o me, understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities. He doesn’t get it. Neither does Clarence.”
Donalds responded Wednesday, calling Behar a “buffoon.”
“Joy Behar doesn’t understand that she is a buffoon,” Donalds quipped on Fox Business. “She’s paid to spew these things. Nobody really pays attention to anything she believes in or talks about, and she sounds good on the upper west side but the rest of America looks at her and says she’s utterly ridiculous. I don’t even know why her opinions even carry the level of weight they do. Franky, they really don’t, but it’s a ridiculous opinion, she’s never walked a day in Tim Scott’s shoes or my shoes or any other black person in America so she needs to sit down and stay in her lane, tell some jokes, but this is not an area for her to comment.”
“She is a buffoon”: GOP Rep Byron Donalds Tells Joy Behar To Pound Sand: “America looks at her and says she is utterly ridiculous”
“I believe in the Gospel. I believe Matthew 5:44 says ‘Love your enemies’ — but if you break in my house, I also believe in the Second Amendment.
Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) slammed The View host Joy Behar for her scandalous comments about U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas who she claimed don’t understand the reality of African Americans.
Donalds said: “Joy Behar doesn’t understand that she is a buffoon. She’s paid to spew these things. Nobody really pays attention to anything that she believes in or what she talks about.
“And this is all so that she sounds good on the Upper West Side, but the rest of America looks at her and says she is utterly ridiculous.”
Joy said earlier: “Tim Scott’s one of these guys who, you know, he’s like Clarence Thomas, black Republican who believes in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps rather than, to me, understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities.
“He doesn’t get it, neither does Clarence.
“And that’s why they’re Republicans.”
Tim Scott also fired back at the woman who once wore blackface saying: “Meekness is not weakness.
“I believe in the Gospel.
“I believe Matthew 5:44 says ‘Love your enemies’ — but if you break in my house, I also believe in the Second Amendment.
“We have to ignore the far left by disproving their lies by our actions.
“Here’s the funny thing: The host, Sunny, she wants to be judged by the content of her character, not the color of her skin.
“The fact of the matter is America is a story of evolution – a never told story of evolution in too many of our schools that are indoctrinating our kids instead of educating our kids.
“Every parent who wants a choice.
“Look to the Republican Party.
“Look to the GOP, but more importantly, look at Americans, African-Americans, Hispanic Americans – the majority of Americans all agree on school choice.
“I say, not on my watch. Let’s tell the whole story of America rising.
“My life disproves the lies of the radical left,” he said.
Gavin Newsom claims Target ‘is selling out the LGBTQ+ community to extremists’ by removing children’s Pride merch from stores
Retailer Target faced massive backlash after lauching its extreme Pride merch for kids, so much so that store execs decided to remove some of it from stores, even as the annual Pride month of June is only days away. To California Governor Gavin Newsom, this is a complete and total travesty.
“CEO of Target Brian Cornell selling out the LGBTQ+ community to extremists is a real profile in courage,” Newsom wrote on Twitter about the execs decision to listen to consumers and pull the “Queer! Queer! Queer!” t-shirts for kids.
“This isn’t just a couple stores in the South,” he said, with the obvious presumption that people in the southern regions of the US are backwards and bigotted.
“There is a systematic attack on the gay community happening across the country,” he said of parents’ anger against a massive and trusted retailer seeking to push social gender transitions on children.
“Wake up America. This doesn’t stop here. You’re black? You’re Asian? You’re Jewish? You’re a woman? You’re next,” he said.
