Flag Officers 4 America, a group comprised of more than 200 retired admirals and generals, has endorsed former President Donald Trump for reelection in a signed letter Monday stating that Trump is a “proven leader who will secure our border, repulse our adversaries, revitalize our economy and keep America safe and strong.”
“Today our Nation has never been more divided as the cultural war, supported by the Democratic party, divides our citizens into conflicting groups,” they wrote. “Recent evidence is the widespread riots on university campuses with students and faculty supporting terrorist organizations, Hamas and Hezbollah, blatantly flying their flags on American soil and burning our US national flag.” Those endorsing Trump include generals from the US Army, Air Force and Marines and admirals from the US Navy.
“While this divisive domestic strife is dividing our Country, our foreign enemies have been on the march, taking advantage of the political/social disorder in America,” they continued.
The group noted that the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation has assessed the US military as “weak” and highlighted a congressional report that said America could well be defeated in a war with “peer and near-peer adversaries.”
“These assessments should be shocking to any American. Our national security is in serious jeopardy and our adversaries know it,” the document maintained as it specifically condemned the influence of “divisive social engineering programs embodied in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the expense of warfighting readiness.” The retired military leaders note that other countries like China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, and global terrorists “are rapidly expanding their capabilities and aggressiveness. This did not happen during Donald Trump’s presidency.”
The letter said the “political policies and actions” from the Biden-Harris administration “have placed the US into this perilous situation,” as it cited the open borders phenomenon as chief among these dangerous policies.
“The influx of countless millions of unvetted illegals from 160 countries, including ~100,000 Chinese, most of military age, plus thousands of criminals and terrorists, place America at great risk … Border security is national security.”
Trump has consistently blamed the Biden-Harris administration for the tens of millions of illegal immigrants who have wandered across the border with impunity, while among them are 13,000 convicted murderers and 435,000 with criminal records.
“We must ask: ‘Is our national security stronger or weaker today than four years ago?’” the letter asked. “The answer is clear. We urge our fellow Americans to join us in supporting the election of Donald J. Trump for president. Our future is at stake.”

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) stunned the hosts of The Breakfast Club this week when he argued that Vice President Kamala Harris helped cause the massive rise of inflation during the Joe Biden presidency.
Speaking with Charlamagne tha God, Donalds said that Americans have not been thriving due to inflation, which he said was brought about by Kamala Harris.
“I would argue. We’re not really thriving right now. This inflation, which, by the way, was brought to us by Kamala Harris, has really slowed down people from being able to excel,” said Byron Donalds.
“By Kamala?” asked Charlamagne.
“Yes!” exclaimed Donalds.
When Charlamagne asked for him to explain how the vice president would have more responsibility for inflation than President Joe Biden, Donalds said that Kamala Harris provided the tie-breaking vote for the president’s American rescue plan.
“When Joe Biden wanted to do his American rescue plan, Kamala Harris was the tie breaking vote in the United States Senate. She broke the tie and started this inflation that has hurt so many people in our country,” said Donalds.
When the co-hosts pushed back, Byron Donalds cited a 2021 op-ed from former Bill Clinton treasury secretary Lawrence Summers.
“[Summers] said that the American rescue plan that Joe Biden wanted, that Kamala Harris was a tie-breaking vote in the United States Senate, would create a massive inflation that we have not seen an a generation. Well, guess what? Larry Summers was correct,” said Donalds.
The congressman then explained how he tried to warn the budget committee on how the bill would cause inflation.
“I was in the budget committee when they brought the bill. And I said in that committee, it’s going to cause massive inflation. That’s what happened. So the problem that we have in our economy today is that prices have gone up massively. Wages adjusted for inflation is down. Peoples pocketbooks are hurting,” he said.
