Elon Musk has lauded DOGE’s clean-up of a Social Security database which had millions of impossibly-aged Americans still on file.
The Department of Government Efficiency, headed by the billionaire ‘first buddy,’ discovered last month that the system for the U.S. Social Security Administration included millions of people above the age of 120, and even some over 200.
Musk jokingly called the efforts to delete these records a clearing of the ‘dead people database.’
The DOGE X account posted overnight that the team has over the last two weeks marked as deceased 3.2 million people who were listed over the age of 120.
There are still millions, however, listed as living in that age bracket that the team is working to delete.
The 150-159 age range within the database on March 8 had 1,357,967 people marked as living.
By March 17, the count in that category decreased by 186,415 to a total of 1,171,552.
In that two week time span in March, DOGE was able to mark 3,261,057 people as dead who were previously in the Social Security system records as part of the ‘living count’ between the ages of 120 and 159.
‘More work still to be done,’ the cost-cutting group noted.
While the millions of clearly dead people are still in the system as eligible for benefits, that doesn’t necessarily mean that money is being distributed to those individuals.
Since President Donald Trump was inaugurated in January, his newly created DOGE has cut billions in government contracts to private industry, thousands of federal jobs and even obliterated whole agencies – like USAID.
Musk has promised to make even more cuts and to reduce government waste, fraud and abuse.
During an interview released on Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s podcast this week, Musk said most of the problem his group is identifying in the federal government is a general sense of waste of taxpayer dollars and not an intentional misuse of money.
‘What is the waste to fraud ratio?’ Musk said in the sit-down with the Republican senator.
‘In my opinion it’s like 80 percent waste, 20 percent fraud,’ he revealed. ‘But you do have these sorts of gray areas.’
‘An example would be – so we saw a lot of payments going out of Treasury that had no payment code and no explanation for the payment.
‘And then we’re trying to figure out what that payment is and we’d see that okay, that contract was supposed to be shut off, but someone forgot to shut off that contract, and so the company kept getting money,’ he noted.
‘Now is that waste or fraud?’ Musk asked.
Cruz replied that it was ‘both.’

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a federal judge appointed by Barack Obama issued an ’emergency’ injunction Saturday night ordering planes already in the air to turn back mid-flight to prevent the deportation of Tren De Agua members to El Salvador.
The case was brought by the Marxist, America-hating ACLU and Democracy Forward.
But the order came too late. Two flights from the U.S. carrying nearly 300 Venezuelan and other gang members landed in El Salvador despite Judge James Boasberg’s emergency order. This prompted a mocking reply from the country’s president, Nayib Bukele.
Now, independent journalist Laura Loomer discovered a massive conflict of interest between Boasberg and his own daughter. It turns out Katherine Boasberg, the daughter, works for a far-left organization called Partners for Justice that opposes “mass incarceration” of violent criminals and strongly opposes deporting illegals, including violent felons.
Unsurprisingly, Katherine Boasberg is so woke she has pronouns in her bio.

On top of this, Partners for Justice receives 76% of its funding from U.S. grants. This means taxpayers are funding this conflict of interest and pro-criminal activity.
Because of this, Loomer says that Boasberg has no choice but to recuse himself, saying his family is a national security threat.
“Given his daughter’s employment at a group that advocates for criminal illegal Aliens & is funded by US Government grants, Judge Boasberg should not be granted any sensitive information about deportation flights. His family is a national security threat,” she writes.

Trump’s HHS Finds Maine Violated Title IX by Allowing Males on Female Sports Teams
President Donald Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Monday announced that Maine violated federal civil rights law by allowing males to play on female sports teams.
The department’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) specifically found that the Maine Department of Education, the Maine Principals’ Association, and Greely High School have each violated Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities receiving federal funding.
The OCR launched its compliance review after a transgender-identifying boy claimed the victory in the Maine Class B championship for the Greely High School girls’ track and field team in February. The high school boy was allowed to perform on the girls’ team, despite Trump’s executive order barring males from participating on female sports teams. Following Trump’s order, Maine officials publicly said they would not comply with the order, siding with transgender-identifying males over women and girls.
“The Maine Department of Education may not shirk its obligations under Federal law by ceding control of its extracurricular activities, programs, and services to the Maine Principals’ Association,” said Anthony Archeval, Acting Director of the Office for Civil Rights at HHS. “We hope the Maine Department of Education, the Maine Principals’ Association, and Greely High School will work with us to come to an agreement that restores fairness in women’s sports.”
HHS said the OCR’s determination letter sent to the three entities offers them the opportunity to voluntarily commit within ten days to comply with Title IX “or risk referral to the U.S. Department of Justice for appropriate action.”
President Trump’s executive order on “Keeping Men out of Women’s Sports” was created to protect female student athletes from having “to compete with or against or having to appear unclothed before males.” The order also mandates each federal department to “review grants to education programs and, where appropriate, rescind funding to programs that fail to comply with the policy established in this order,” which protects women “as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.”
HHS’s findings come after the Department of Education launched its own investigation into Maine following the teen boy’s win at the high school girls’ pole vault competition.
The Trump administration last week also ordered the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to pause federal funds to the University of Maine System (UMS) over the state’s refusal to protect women’s sports.

Texas bill aims to ban barking, meowing and other ‘non-human behavior’ in schools to tackle furries trend
A bill introduced in the Texas House of Representatives backed by Gov. Greg Abbott would ban “non-human behavior” in schools, including barking and other practices common among furries.
The Forbidden Unlawful Representation of Roleplaying in Education, also known as the FURRIES Act, would prohibit students from barking, hissing, meowing, wearing leashes, fur or tails at public schools in the state.
The proposal also specifies that students cannot use litter boxes or licking as means of self-care on school grounds.
Schools across the country have repeatedly debunked claims of litter box installations for student use since it was first flagged during a bizarre meeting in a Michigan school district in 2022.
Only school mascots and dress-up performances including Halloween and certain themed spirit week days are exempted from the ban.
While the bill works as a blanket ban applied to all students, Republican state Rep. Stan Gerdes, the patron of the bill, specifically called out furries and said he wants to keep them out of schools.
“No distractions. No theatrics. Just education,” Gerdes wrote on social media.
While the ban doesn’t extend to private schools, Abbott referenced it during a meeting with pastors in Austin as a motivating factor to allow private school choice vouchers.
“If you have a child in a public school, you have one expectation: your children’s going to be learning the fundamentals of education — reading and writing and math and science,” Abbott said, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.
“If they’re being distracted by furries, those parents have a right to move their child to a school of their choice,” the governor continued.
Abbott has been fighting for school choice vouchers for years.
The program, if ever implemented, would grant parents the ability to divert their tax dollars toward the school of their choice rather than the ones in their respective area — including private and religious institutions that would not typically receive public funds.
Abbott has admitted that introducing the vouchers would result in less funding for public schools.
Gerdes anticipates that the “full furry vengeance” will descend onto the state Capitol during hearings for the bill, which have not been set.
