Watch: Investigative Journalist Explains Why Epstein Case Will Never Progress…

“The government wants to make sure that that does not come out. A huge part of our political system is predicated on blackmail,”

Journalist Nick Bryant notes in this viral clip from the Shawn Ryan podcast that the Jeffrey Epstein case is being covered up by the federal government and will never progress because it would destroy their entire operational system.

“Epstein had cameras in all of his homes. Epstein was definitely a blackmail artist,” Bryant notes.

“The government wants to make sure that that does not come out. A huge part of our political system is predicated on blackmail,” he adds.

“If that dark, malignant corner of the intelligence that is using blackmail against our politicians and other people, if they were using children, that would make the American people erupt,” Bryant further urges.

He continues, “For that dark corner of intelligence, this is Omaha Beach. They’re not going to give an inch.”

“If you look at all the victims and all the perpetrators and all the procurers involved in the Epstein network … no one’s been indicted except for Ghislaine Maxwell,” the journalist explains.

“That really shows that our government, unfortunately, wants to stop it there,” he adds.

“Why is our government aiding, abetting child trafficking unless they’re protecting some very powerful people and a political process?” Bryant posits.

“That’s the only way that it makes sense,” he concludes.

As we highlighted yesterday, President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi responded very tersely to a reporter’s question about the Epstein case Tuesday, with Trump clearly disgusted that it was still being brought up.

It’s clear that there is a massive coverup in operation.

Trump vowed to provide transparency on the case, yet his DOJ is putting up a brick wall, prompting many of his supporters to call it out as unacceptable.

Many have found themselves reluctantly having to agree with the likes of Trump hater Cenk Uygur and CNN propagandist Jake Tapper.

Collin Rugg on X (formerly Twitter): “JUST IN: Jake Tapper calls on the Trump administration to release the trove of Epstein documents they have, says the American people are being played for fools.”This isn’t going to go away…””There’s a trove of information that the Trump admin is right now refusing to share,… pic.twitter.com/VEXotpNWIM / X”

It is insane.

Meanwhile Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who chairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, notes in an X post, “The American people deserve to know truth ref. Epstein, regardless of who it impacts.”

She added that there is further evidence that can be authorised for release, declaring that she will push for it.

“The American people should be free to come to their own conclusions. The Truth will always come out one way or another,” Luna urged.

Biden doctor Kevin O’Connor invokes Fifth Amendment when asked if he lied about ex-prez’s health

Biden doctor Kevin O’Connor invokes Fifth Amendment when asked if he lied about ex-prez’s health

“This is unprecedented, and I think that this adds more fuel to the fire that there was a cover-up,” House Oversight chairman James Comer declared.

Joe Biden’s former doctor refused to answer a single question Wednesday about the ex-president’s health and cognitive decline — stunningly invoking his right against self-incrimination before slinking out of a congressional deposition.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor is facing claims that he shielded the public from Biden’s decline while the 46th president was in office — and even covered up his powerful patient’s advanced-stage prostate cancer.

“Dr. O’Connor pleaded the Fifth Amendment,” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) revealed after the doctor’s swift departure.

According to Comer, O’Connor, Biden’s longtime personal physician, was asked two key questions:

  • “Were you ever told to lie about the president’s health?”
  • “Did you ever believe President Biden was unfit to execute his duties?”

In both instances, O’Connor took the Fifth.

“This is unprecedented, and I think that this adds more fuel to the fire that there was a cover-up,” Comer declared.

In a subsequent statement, the Kentucky Republican added it was “clear there was a conspiracy to cover up” the 46th president’s declining mental acuity.

“Congress must assess legislative solutions to prevent such a cover-up from happening again,” he added. “We will continue to interview more Biden White House aides to get the answers Americans deserve.”

In an unusual move, the committee posted footage of O’Connor’s aborted closed-door interview on X, tweeting: “What are they hiding?”

The only question O’Connor did answer before the deposition concluded was confirming his name, according to an Oversight spokesperson, who pointed out that doctor-patient privilege would have allowed the witness to answer at least some questions.

Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman, who served as physician to the president during Barack Obama’s first term, agreed with that interpretation.

“In my opinion, [the first question] doesn’t involve HIPAA,” Kuhlman told The Post.

As for the second question, Kuhlman advised, “I don’t think that’s covered by HIPAA,” because it “doesn’t sound like that’s specific health information that they’re seeking.”

When asked whether he would answer questions under oath that don’t directly relate to a patient’s health, Kuhlman said: “In my role as a physician caring for a patient, I probably would.”

Kuhlman, who published the book “Transforming Presidential Healthcare,” in November 2024, has repeatedly called for Biden and other elderly politicians to be subjected to annual mental fitness tests.

Comer told reporters that O’Connor invoking his constitutional right against self-incrimination lent more credibility to bombshell claims made in the Biden White House tell-all “Original Sin” published May 20 by journalists Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson.

The co-authors alleged that a “Politburo” of close senior advisers — including Tomasini — served as the “ultimate decision-makers” in the last White House.

Other purported “Politburo” members who will sit for interviews with the Oversight panel include ex-White House chief of staff Ron Klain (July 24), former counselor to the president Steve Ricchetti (July 30), former senior adviser Mike Donilon (July 31) and former deputy chief of staff for policy Bruce Reed (Aug. 5).

Anita Dunn, who left the Biden White House in August 2024 after serving as a senior adviser to the president for communications, will sit for a transcribed interview Aug. 7.

The Trump White House had declined Tuesday to invoke executive privilege over any of O’Connor’s testimony, as it had for both ex-Biden aide Neera Tanden and Anthony Bernal, first lady Jill Biden’s top aide.

Tanden testified for five hours without being shielded by the executive authority and told reporters afterward that there was “absolutely not” a cover-up of Biden’s diminishing mental fitness.

Bernal will be deposed July 16 after refusing to appear voluntarily.

“There’s more and more evidence that comes out every day that would suggest that the president was in a pretty severe mental decline, so we’re going to ask about that,” Comer had said before the deposition.

“We can’t have the physician’s office not being truthful about the health condition of the president,” he added, noting that the interview was part of a larger investigation into who in the Biden White House was authorized to use an autopen that signed executive actions and pardons.

Senator Mike Lee Suggests Epstein May Have Been a Government Asset

Senator Mike Lee Suggests Epstein May Have Been a Government Asset | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hᴏft

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) lit up social media Tuesday night with a stunning theory that dares to say what corrupt media outlets and federal agencies refuse to touch: Jeffrey Epstein may have been a government asset-and that’s why he was protected for so long.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) lit up social media Tuesday night with a stunning theory that dares to say what corrupt media outlets and federal agencies refuse to touch: Jeffrey Epstein may have been a government asset—and that’s why he was protected for so long.

Lee’s X thread, posted under his @BasedMikeLee account, lays out a meticulous—and damning—timeline of red flags surrounding Epstein’s inexplicable wealth, his bizarre immunity from scrutiny, and his highly suspicious death behind bars.

Lee is now among the first sitting U.S. senators to publicly raise the possibility that Epstein was protected, funded, and ultimately silenced by powerful actors within the federal government.

Lee kicked off the thread by questioning Epstein’s sweetheart plea deal from 2008, where sex-trafficking charges were dropped and he served just 13 cushy months with “work release” privileges. One bombshell detail: the U.S. attorney told others that Epstein “belonged to intelligence.”

It can be recalled that during former U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta’s 2017 vetting for U.S. Secretary of Labor under President Trump, he explained the lenient deal by saying he had “been told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence‘ and to leave it alone,” implying Epstein was above his pay grade and that pursuing charges aggressively could interfere with intelligence operations.

Despite being labeled a “financier,” Epstein’s actual business operations were opaque at best, according to Sen. Lee.

If that wasn’t enough, Lee blasted the FBI and DOJ for their slow-walked investigations, even while flight logs showed VIP after VIP boarding Epstein’s jet with zero scrutiny.

Lee also hammered home the absurdity of Epstein’s alleged suicide in 2019—inside a facility designed to prevent suicide.

Lee also included a chilling reminder in the thread: “If Epstein was a government asset… silencing him would protect the puppet masters.”

1/ I’ve been asked today why I think Jeffrey Epstein *might* have been a gov asset. Let’s unpack the case. His connections, wealth, & influence raise red flags. Was he just a financier? Or something more? https://t.co/93Sh6UNPrQ

Mike Lee: I’ve been asked today why I think Jeffrey Epstein might have been a gov asset. Let’s unpack the case. His connections, wealth, & influence raise red flags. Was he just a financier? Or something more?

Epstein’s plea deal in 2008 was unusually lenient. Sex-trafficking charges dropped, 13 months in a cushy jail with work release. Prosecutors hinted at “intelligence” ties. The U.S. attorney handling the case said he was told Epstein “belonged to intelligence.”
Coincidence?

His personal network was a who’s who list that would make a king blush: politicians, royalty, tech moguls, etc. Why did so many powerful people trust a convicted felon? Was he collecting dirt for someone? Blackmail operations often use honeypots—Epstein’s islands fit the bill.

Flight logs show VIPs on the Lolita Express. No scrutiny for years. FBI & DOJ slow-walked investigations. Did powerful people shield him? Government agencies routinely use shady figures to gather intelligence—think MKUltra and COINTELPRO.

The source of Epstein’s wealth remains … unclear—to put it mildly. No clear record of how he amassed his vast fortune. Shell companies? Shadow accounts? Sounds like a setup for laundering or funneling funds. Government assets are known to get “sponsored” to play their role.

His death in 2019, quickly ruled a suicide, occurred in a high-security jail cell—one designed to thwart suicide attempts.
Cameras off, guards asleep, noose questionable. Too convenient?

If Epstein was a government asset—and to be clear, I have no knowledge of that beyond what I’m saying here (gleaned entirely from publicly reported, non-classified sources)—silencing him would presumably protect the puppet masters.
Who benefits from Epstein’s silence?

Counterpoint: Maybe he was just a rich, unusually creepy, remorseless sex offender who had access to exceptional lawyers. But the dots—including his plea deal, connections, wealth, and death—don’t add up cleanly.
Why so many protections for one man? What did he know?

Some say we may never know the truth. I refuse to accept that.
Either way, the Epstein saga screams cover-up.
If it’s eventually proven that he was a government asset, that would help expose how deep the rot goes.

The American people are smart and remain genuinely concerned about what happened here.
We must not accept efforts to sweep this under the rug, which is what Epstein tried to do with his victims.

Demand transparency.
Keep digging.
We can and will find answers if we stay at this.
What do you think?
