The press briefing at the James Brady room of the White House Wednesday was a real banger. Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, methodically walked through the House Majority Intelligence Report on the shenanigans we all had speculated about for the past eight-plus years and privately knew deep down. Gabbard had the receipts, and it wasn’t pretty.
For a little over ten minutes after Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt turned over the podium to the DNI, Gabbard detailed involvement of former President Barack Obama, disturbing information about the health, or lack thereof, of former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and buried people like John Brennan forever. If you have not yet had a chance to see or hear it unfiltered yourself, you owe it to yourself to understand how corrupt and fraudulent the left has been for most of the last decade.
It’s breathtaking. For the last three cycles, we were a whisker from the country being run by someone teetering on the brink of a mental health crisis with Type II diabetes, a man with cognitive decline serious enough his team hid their candidate during the campaign, and a woman whose personal motto would seem to be In Vino Veritas – in wine, there is truth.
In a sane world, you would think there’d be someone in media interested enough in this story to pick it up and run with it. After all, you couldn’t throw a rock without hitting a Beltway journo hyping Russiagate from 2017-2021. It was all the rage then. It’s safe to say everyone in Resistance media is familiar with the story. CNN began carrying the press briefing Wednesday until DNI Gabbard got to Barack Obama’s involvement and CNN editors figured out what was coming. So they immediately dumped out.
So why was CNN stupid enough to carry any of the briefing in the first place? Because one of their White House correspondents, Kaitlan Collins, was in the room and prepped to offer up a gotcha question on Trump’s involvement with dead pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, but only after she tried a gotcha to discredit Gabbard. She never got to part 2.
Erin Burnett did a segment Tuesday night with Andrew Kaczynski on what they would love to be an explosive new update to the Epstein story. Kaczynski and CNN are now in the possession of photos of Epstein at Donald Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples. As part of the K-File report, Andrew states that he called up Trump’s cell for comment, and spent 30 seconds with the President.
CNN is desperately trying to make this nothingburger into filet mignon, and had Collins primed and ready to spring the trap on Gabbard. It didn’t go well.
Collins was there to discredit Gabbard and the report, deflate the entire presser, clearing the way for the Epstein update to dominate the media cycle. Leavitt had other intentions.
After the briefing was over, CNN’s other White House correspondent, Jeff Zeleny, was brought in to comment on Gabbard’s findings, and had this to say.
So the White House correspondent for CNN is not too excited and is offering his own editorial judgment about not wanting to cover events going on, *checks notes*, inside the White House. Mr. Zeleny is no longer interested in pursuing the Russiagate story wherever it goes. That’s a departure from Mr. Zeleny’s position just a few years ago. He loved Russiagate then.
Just to put this into perspective, let’s review the facts. CNN, including Jeff Zeleny, helped perpetuate the fraud that Russiagate was a scandal in the first place when reality now shows it was fabricated out of whole cloth by the outgoing Obama administration, and kept alive by Obama holdovers in the intelligence community for years to come.
The left-wing deep state lied about Trump’s ties to Russia. It was all a lie. These same people who invented and sustained that lie also lied about the physical and mental health of Hillary Clinton. Remember this scene from the 2016 campaign trail?
We were lied to about Hillary collapsing. It was blamed on the heat, exhaustion, and dehydration. Nowhere in media was it reported that Hillary Clinton was a Type II diabetic and on heavy tranquilizers to help her cope with severe psycho-emotional issues, and a heart condition. She was not physically, mentally, or emotionally fit enough to run for president, let alone be president. But it was swept under the rug with media lifting up the corner of that rug in order to make it easier.
These same people lied to us about the cognitive health of Joe Biden. He was fine, we were told.
These same people told us Kamala was brat. She was the whole package. The only reason she lost, they said, was because her campaign didn’t put her out there more so Americans could get to know her.
Every media appearance was like this, and the reason Kamala became sparse in interviews and on the campaign trail is because she was a trainwreck, and nothing could be done to put lipstick on this pig of a candidate. You couldn’t put in what God left out, as the famous Chariots of Fire line goes.
These same people lied about the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
For the previous decade, everything out of the Resistance media’s collective mouth about politics, especially where Donald Trump is involved, is a lie. The left tried to incarcerate Trump. Two Special Counsels investigated him. He was indicted, convicted in a New York City kangaroo court, had his home in Florida raided. Literally everything, including the kitchen sink, was thrown at the President by these same liars who have lied about everything for a decade, making stuff up without reservation if it suited the overall narrative of getting Trump.
So Zeleny and CNN are yawning over an 8-year-old story in favor of a 22-year-old set of pictures from a wedding in order to speculate that there might be a scandal brewing on the horizon that could take down this presidency? Sorry, not buying it.
The chance that the Biden administration, who used the Department of Justice to try to lock up his opponent and take him off the board in 2024, wouldn’t have released dirt on Trump vis-a-vis Jeffrey Epstein if such dirt existed, is zero.
Actually, zero is too high a number. The odds that the left wouldn’t have used the Epstein file as a weapon sometime over the previous four years, or even made up a story using AI if necessary, is zero on the Kelvin scale – minus 273 degrees.
I wish I could be optimistic that the entire crowd on the left was on the verge of collapse and that the long line of frog marching will now commence, but I’m not. Media is so wedded to the Democratic Party’s actions to stop Trump over the previous decade, they’re all in. They current crop of Beltway media types will never remove the scales from their eyes. They’ll continue to shift seamlessly from self-protection mode to offense, depending on whether it’s themselves or Trump they perceive to be vulnerable. And they’ll continue to hemorrhage credibility in the process.
CNN may one day begin the process of reestablishing their brand. But, as Aragorn warned, it is not this day.

Jonathan Turley Explains Why Ghislaine Maxwell May Be ‘Most Dangerous Witness’ Regarding Epstein
George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said Thursday Ghislaine Maxwell potentially has “a lot of information” tied to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that may not have been previously revealed.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche posted on X Tuesday that the DOJ would meet with Maxwell, who was convicted on five of six counts in December 2021, including a charge of conspiring to sex traffic minors. Turley said that while Maxwell had been sentenced, it also appeared she had never been interviewed by the Justice Department.
“One of the interesting aspects about this meeting is that Blanche may be first Department of Justice official to interview Maxwell,” Turley told “America Reports” co-host Sandra Smith. “I was under the impression, the reporting previously that she had spoken to investigators after all into this scandal. I was told by a member of her legal team that she has never been interviewed by the Justice Department and that does raise the question whether she is an untapped source of information.”
“So this is a much more significant interview than many of us might have anticipated,” Turley continued. “The assumption is if she had something to trade, she’d have done it already. The expiration date on this milk is long past because she has already been sentenced to 20 years, and you would think she would have come forward and say, look, I’ve got something here that is worth a trade. But she is making many people feel uncomfortable today because she is someone who may have a lot of information that simply has not been revealed.”
Some of President Donald Trump’s supporters have criticized him and Attorney General Pam Bondi over the handling of the Epstein files, with the president being “ratioed” on Truth Social over the matter, Newsweek reported. Trump fired back at the critics in a July 16 post on Truth Social and also defended Bondi in a lengthy statement posted July 12 on the site.
Smith asked Turley about the House Oversight Committee electing to issue a subpoena for Maxwell’s testimony and how much information Maxwell could potentially provide.
“Most of us assumed that she had been interviewed repeatedly,” Turley said. “That is what the legal team is now saying has not actually occurred. Of all of the people that would have the goods essentially on this scandal, it is Maxwell. With the exception of Epstein himself, she was this ubiquitous presence. She’s in all these pictures and she’s just in the background. That is always your most dangerous witness, someone who is unseen but always there.”
“The question is, does she have something that would be material for criminal prosecution and not just embarrassing?” Turley continued.
